Every time I finish a carving, its later that I notice a few things I need to fix still. We get tunnel vision, focused in on the parts we were working on and struggling with and it can be easy to overlook problems that might be obvious, a detail missed, a line that should have continued. One instructor I had, Wayne Laramore, told me to sit it out where you can see it for a while, and have to keep looking at it and over time you'll see things you missed on the first pass. It was great advice and has continued to serve me well. #fantasyartist #woodcarving #whittling #dndart #woodart
